Your New Utilities

Ensure that all services and utilities have been secured prior to moving into your new home. Completing these steps at least a month in advance of your arrival will make your move easier! It will also prevent any interrupted service during your first few months in your new household. Use this handout as a reference and as a checklist to help guide you with your move.

Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro
• Complete the form in full at least 48 hours prior to the date you require service

City of Cambridge Water Service
• Fill out an application for Water Service a minimum of four days prior to the date you require service

Kitchener/ Waterloo

Kitchener Utilities
• Applications can be filled out online 24/7 or in person if you do not have access to a computer

Regional Municipality of Waterloo Water Service
• Required a minimum of three business days prior to the date you require the service

Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro
