Join Us in Making a Difference!

At The Blackwell Group, giving back to our community and making a positive impact has always been at the heart of what we do. Through our ongoing Give-Back Charity Program, we’ve been committed to making a real difference in the lives of those in need—because every donation, big or small, helps build a stronger, more supportive community.

How It Works

With every home we sell, we give our clients the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community. As part of our Give-Back Charity Program, our clients can select a cause that resonates most with them, and we’ll donate $100 on their behalf to one of the following charitable organizations. This way, each sale becomes more than just a transaction—it becomes a chance to support initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Your home purchase helps spread hope, uplift communities, and drive positive change.

Our Charity Choices

Here at The Blackwell Group, we are proud to support a carefully selected group of charitable organizations that align with our values and mission to give back to the community. However, we understand that every person has unique passions and causes that are close to their heart. That’s why, while we recommend contributing to the charities we’ve partnered with, our clients are free to choose any organization they feel most connected to. Whether it’s supporting education, healthcare, environmental initiatives, or local outreach programs, we want every donation to reflect what matters most to you—because together, we can make a lasting impact in many meaningful ways.

The Cambridge and District Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the health, safety, and humane treatment of animals throughout the Cambridge and District community in Ontario, Canada. Their mission goes beyond simply providing shelter—they aim to create a compassionate environment through education and advocacy.

At its core, the Society believes that animals are an essential part of our world and deserve respect, protection, and care. They emphasize that no animal should suffer and that pet ownership is a privilege, bringing both joy and responsibility.

The organization’s team works tirelessly to care for homeless animals in need of temporary shelter, matching them with loving new homes. They also provide valuable education to the community on responsible pet care, helping new owners build strong, lasting bonds with their pets.

Completely reliant on the generosity of volunteers and donors, the Cambridge and District Humane Society depends on community support to continue fulfilling its mission. Every donation and volunteer effort plays a vital role in protecting animals and ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve.

Food4Kids Waterloo Region is dedicated to fighting childhood hunger by providing nutritious food to vulnerable children aged 14 and under. Recognizing that many children experience food insecurity during weekends and school breaks, the organization delivers healthy food packages directly to schools or homes, ensuring these children have access to meals when school nutrition programs are unavailable.

Since its founding in 2016, Food4Kids has expanded from serving 19 children to helping over 1,000 annually, with targeted programs for weekends, summer, and school holidays. Their approach emphasizes culturally sensitive food, accommodates dietary restrictions, and ensures that each child receives individual food packages to meet their needs.

This initiative addresses a significant local issue, as thousands of children in the Waterloo Region live with chronic hunger. With community support through volunteers and donations, Food4Kids offers these children both food security and hope for a better future. Donations help sustain the organization’s essential mission.

One4Another International is a registered Canadian charity that provides life-changing surgical care to children in Uganda. It was founded in 2012 by siblings Glenn Pascoe and Wendy Hayhoe after they encountered families struggling to afford necessary medical interventions while volunteering in Uganda. Motivated by compassion and their faith, they decided to address this gap, initially facilitating surgeries for six children. Today, the organization helps over 400 children annually and operates its own surgical center in Jinja, Uganda.

The charity focuses on correcting a variety of critical conditions such as clubfoot, bone infections, fractures, burns, hernias, and anal malformations. Without these surgeries, many children risk permanent disability or life-threatening complications. For instance, their treatment for clubfoot follows the Ponseti method, offering non-surgical care for younger children, while older children may require surgical intervention. Their work prevents children from living with debilitating conditions that often lead to social stigma and exclusion from education or family life.

One4Another’s services are provided at no cost to the families, ensuring that poverty does not stand in the way of medical care. The organization has received community support from individuals and groups, such as the Rotary Club, which help sustain these vital efforts. Beyond surgery, One4Another’s team also supports children's recovery with recreational and therapeutic programs to ensure holistic well-being.
